Microfinance Institutions Network (MFIN) today said it has appointed Harsh Shrivastava as it chief executive officer, effective April 25.
He will succeed Ratna Vishwanathan who had stepped down earlier this year.
Prior to this, Shrivastava was with Feedback Infra. He has also held senior positions in Reliance Capital and Srei Infrastructure and Finance.
**************** Inox Leisure partners with Harkness Screens *
Multiplex operator Inox Leisure, which operates 492 screens across 61 cities, today said it has partnered with Ireland-based Harkness Screens to install state-of-the art technology and systems across its multiplexes.
Through the partnership, over 30 per cent of Inox screens in India have been upgraded with Harkness' Clarus XC screen technology, the company said in a release.
Additionally, the screens will also be powered by Curolux technology which will help fine tune projection settings automatically in real time, hence enhancing the complete movie watching experience, it added.
**************** Cosmos-Maya launches linear digital channel WowKidz on YuppTV *
Kids animation content creator Cosmos-Maya today said it has partnered with internet-based TV streaming service provider YuppTv to launch a linear digital channel WowKidz on the latter's platform.
Founded by filmmakers Ketan Mehta and Deepa Sahi, Cosmos-Maya's WowKidz, has over 4 million active YouTube subscribers and over 4 billion cumulative views.
The kids content including popular shows like Motu Patlu, Vir - the Robot Boy, will be available in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on YuppTV, said a company release.
