Opposing Chief Justice of India R M Lodha's suggestion to keep courts open 365 days a year, members of Madras High Court Advocates Association (MHAA) today decided to stage a demonstration here on June 13.
The decision to stage the protest was taken at an Extra Ordinary General Body Meeting of the MHAA held here, association President R C Paul Kanagaraj told reporters.
He said it was also resolved to submit a memorandum to the CJI and others explaining the difficulties from the lawyer side to the proposal mooted for speedy clearance of cases.
