MHIPL's Tutricon plant may start cement production from Jan

City-based cement manufacturer My Home Industries Private Limited (MHIPL) today said its upcoming plant at Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, is expected to start production from January next year taking the total installed capacity of the company to about 10 million tonne per annum.

"The company's total capacity as on date has been at 8.4 Million Tonnes with factories located at Nalgonda district in Telangana, Kurnool and Vizag districts in Andhra Pradesh. Tuticorin plant is expected to start production from January 2017. With that, the installed capacity goes up to 10 Million tonne," My Home executive director Sambasiva Rao told reporters here.
 

MHIPL is a 50:50 joint venture with CRH Plc, Ireland, the second largest building material company in the world.
