Pollard, who missed the game against Pune due to fever, seemed to be fit and spent some time in the middle while Tendulkar who arrived late, batted nearly for 30 minutes.
MI has an impeccable home record this year with six wins at the Wankhede Stadium from as many matches and a win against Hyderabad would seal their place in the knock-out stage of the competition.
The Rohit-Sharma led side is placed second on the league table, having won nine games from 13 matches with 18 points, while the Hyderabad franchise has 16 points from 13 games with eight wins.
