Actor Michael Caine will be honoured at a special event, where clips from his most famous movies will be played on screen, while their musical scores will be performed by the London Symphony Orchestra.

The 81-year-old actor will be interviewed live on stage at the Royal Albert Hall by UK chat show host Jonathan Ross during the event, entitled 'A Night Out With... Sir Michael Caine', reported the Female first magazine.

British singer-songwriters Joss Stone and Lance Ellington will deliver renditions of tracks from his films 'Alfie', 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' and 'The Italian Job', while his other friends from the industry will drop by to honour Caine.

Tickets go on sale on 5 August and the event will take place on 1 October this year.

All profits from the evening will go to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
