"Orange Is the New Black" star Michael Chernus is all set to star in sci-fi action fantasy "Spider-Man: Homecoming".
The 39-year-old actor has teamed up with Sony Pictures and Marvel for the project and will essay the role of Phineas Mason, the Tinkerer in the film, confirmed Deadline.
Chernus, who has worked in the films like "Captain Phillips", "Aloha" and "The Bourne Legacy", will play villain in the reboot of the franchise.
Directed by Jon Watts, the movie will hit theatres on July 7 next year. It stars Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr and Michael Keaton in the main roles.
