Micro art workshop to be held on Nov 12

A workshop on micro art, claimed o be one of the largest in the world, would beconducted here by renowned rice grain artist Venkatesh onNovember 12.

Around 10,000 participants are expected to attend the workshop, being jointly organised by Glitz Entertainment, Forum Fiza Mall and Tandula Art Foundation.

Venkatesh, popularly known as 'Rice grain Venkatesh' for his mastery over engravings on rice grains, has over 27 years of experience in this field of micro art and had conducted over 600 workshops.

At the workshop, live training will be given to participants using LED screens first and they will be asked toengrave on Sella rice, which is 8.3mm thick, a release here said.
 

The workshop is expected to create a world record in terms of the number of participants.

The event will be recorded in India Book of Records and each participant will be given an authorised certificate from the India Book ofRecords.

Venkatesh had earlier organised a similar workshop in his hometown of Chikkamagaluru with 7,522 participants.
