A 38-year-old mother of four children today allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a metro train at Saket station here.
According to police, Taslima Bano, who had separated from her husband, was apparently suffering from depression and undergoing treatment at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the city.
According to police and metro officials, Bano, a resident of Sangam Vihar, got run over by the train going towards Jahangirpuri at around 5:30 PM.
Bano jumping in front of the train was captured by CCTV cameras installed at the station.
She was taken to a hospital where she was declared brought dead.
