In a second attack in four days, a wild boar injured a migrant labourer near here, police said today.

The incident took place Nangal Khera village, they said.

The injured migrant Murari Kumar, who was attacked last evening, was hospitalised here.

On Sunday, two migrant farm workers Ranjit and Bahadur were attacked by a wild boar at Chachrari village when they were working in a sugarcane field, sources said.

It is not clear whether it was the same wild boar responsible for the second attack.

The attacks have caused panic in the area, especially villages.

It is suspected that the wild boar strayed into the area from jungles and was hiding in fields, especially sugarcane fields as the tall crop came as an easy hideout.
