A migrant labourer from Assam today died under mysterious circumstances in Malakunnam near Changanassery in the district.
According to the police, Kailash Jyoti was found unconscious withfoaming around his mouth when they reached the spot after receiving information.
Though he was taken to a nearby hospital, he could not be saved. His body has been shifted to the Government hospital in Kottayam, police said.
A detailed investigation has been launched into the incident, they said.
