The migrant workers, who were engaged at the construction site of a Power House in Baliar Kalan village near here, fell ill on Sunday night after eating food at their slum dwelling near the site.
While eight persons, including two children, were admitted to the trauma centre on Monday morning, two others, including the deceased, brought here yesterday.
A medical officer said that it appeared to be a case of food poisoning. However, samples of drinking water in the area had also been sent for examination to the Medical College Laboratory in Rohtak.
