Thirty migratory birds have reached Madhya Pradesh this year, official sources said here today.

"Lesser Florican also called Kharmore is an endangered species, which is struggling to survive. It is a good sign that 30 Likhs have flown into MP," ornithologist Ajay Gadikar, who is working with the forest department to conserve Kharmore, told PTI.

He said these bustards migrate to MP and fly off to unidentified places after staying here for a period of three to four months.

Kharmore have been spotted in Ratlam, Jhabua and Dhar districts as well, he said.

The ave expert said that since two years no Likh was spotted at Sardarpur area of Dhar.
