Mihika Yadav and Rian Pandole, both from Maharashtra, entered the girls and boys under-16 singles finals respectively of the Babolat 8th Ramesh Desai jand sub- junior national tennis championship here today.

In the girls' semi-final contest, third seed Mihika prevailed over her state rival Mahak Jain 6-4 6-3 at the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association courts and would take on top seed R Abinika of Tamil Nadu in the title round tomorrow.

The Tamil Nadu girl put an end to the dream run of Prinkle Singh of Jammu and Kashmir, who had beaten Chandigarh's fifth seed Aarushi Kakkar and Haryana's fourth seed Himani Mor on way to the semis. Abinika dominated the match and scored a 6-1 6-3 victory.
