New mother Mila Kunis hopes her baby daughter Wyatt will grow up to become a doctor or a lawyer.

The 'Ted' star does not want her daughter to follow in her mother or father Ashton Kutcher's footsteps and take up acting, reported Hello! magazine.

"I'm not really worrying about that now... However, if my kid could be a doctor or a lawyer that would be great because this industry is based on rejection. That'd the first thing you learn, the word 'no'.

"My parents never wanted me to act. I was only allowed to keep doing it if I got straight As in school," she said.

The 31-year-old screen beauty had ambitions to be in medical professional herself, but her dreams were dashed by her aversion to blood.

"Yes (I wanted to be a doctor) - until I realised I didn't like blood! I also thought of becoming a teacher but I found I enjoyed acting so much that I knew I had to stick with it.

"I always loved the idea of pretending so acting was a natural evolution. It got me out of school, which is the best thing every kid can hope for.
