An earthquake of moderate intensity today shook Rajasthan's Jaisalmer district but there were no reports of any loss of life or damage to property.
The quake, measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale, struck at around 12:57 pm, the Met office said.
Panic-stricken people rushed out of their homes and offices as the tremor lasted nearly 10 seconds.
