Mild tremors felt in Kutch, no loss reported

The earthquake had its epicentre at 34 km northwest of Khavada village in Kutch, officials at the Institute of Seismological Research (ISR) said.

Aftershocks measuring 2.3 on the Richter scale were felt in the afternoon around 3 pm, they said, adding that the aftershocks had the epicentre at 30 km northwest of Dudhai village in Kutch.

According to the officials, no loss of life or damage to property was reported.
