Mild weather continued in Delhi a day after strong winds and rains lashed the national capital, keeping the maximum temperature three notches below normal.

As per MeT department, mercury settled at 35.8 degree Celsius today which was three degrees below normal and 2.4 point below yesterday's 38.2 degree Celsius.

A cloudy sky and cool breeze kept the morning temperature at a comfortable level.

The drop in temperature was mainly attributed to the 15.3 mm rain in the national capital recorded from 8:30 AM yesterday to the same time here this morning.

According to MeT department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 23.1 degree Celsius which was two notches below normal and around three points down from yesterday's 26 degree Celsius.

However, the city received no rain today as was predicted by the MeT department.

Weatherman has predicted mainly clear sky tomorrow while the maximum temperature is expected to remain around 38 deg C while the minimum may settle around 24 deg C.
