Mild winter conditions prevail in Rajasthan plains

Mild winter conditions prevailed in the plains of Rajasthan, while Mount Abu, which registered a low of 4.4 degrees Celsius, was the coldest place in the state.

Dense fog in north east of Rajasthan and adjoining states of Haryana, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh affected running of 13 trains of North Western Railway, its CPRO Tarun Jain said.

New Tinsukhia-Lalgarh train is running late by 4 hours 55 minutes, Sealdah-Ajmer train is delayed by 4 hours and Allahabad-Jaipur train by 3 hours 50 minutes, he said.

Departure of Jaipur-Allahabad train has been rescheduled and would be 2 hours 30 minutes late, Jain said.
 

The minimum temperature recorded in Srigangangar was 7.1 degrees Celsius followed by 7.4 degrees Celsius in Sikar, 7.6 degrees Celsius in Udaipur, and 7.9 degrees Celsius in both Churu and Tonk.

According to MeT forecast, the current weather condition would prevail in next 24 hours.
