Singer Miley Cyrus has felt uncomfortable in relationships with both men and women because of the "macho energy."
The 22-year-old singer, who was previously engaged to Liam Hemsworth and dated Patrick Schwarzenegger, admitted she has encountered problems when romancing people of both genders.
Explaining why she dislikes "overly macho energy", the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker said, "That made me feel like I had to be a femme-bot, which I'm not.
"And then when I was with a girl, I felt like, 'Oh damn, she's going to need someone to protect her, so I'm going to need to have this macho energy," the singer said.
