Singer Ed Sheeran has praised Miley Cyrus, calling her a wonderful artist with a great voice, despite the singer snubbing him at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Cyrus, 21, badmouthed about him, as he reached out for high-five from other people while he walked past her to accept his best male singer trophy at the ceremony, reported Contactmusic.
When asked about the incident on a chat show, Sheeran, 23, said, "Well, I don't know why people were expecting that (high-five). I've never met her. There was a high-five between me and Scooter (Braun) because I know him, and that was the only high-five. I don't know what people were expecting," he said.
"I think she's (Cyrus) a fantastic artist. I think she's got a great voice, writes great songs. When I first heard 'Wrecking Ball', I thought it was a brilliant song. But the video distracts too much from it," he added.
