Actress-singer Miley Cyrus reportedly turned down an online invite to prom from her teenage fan Arizona.
The 21-year-old songstress rather offered him a free pass for her upcoming show, reported Contactmusic.
"Dear Matt Peterson, I don't think I'll be able to make it to prom but why don't you come to my AZ show and hang with me? Don't forget a corsage," she posted on twitter.
The post was a reply of a video where Peterson asked Cyrus to the prom when her Bangerz tour hits the state of Phoenix.
"I have been a fan of yours from the beginning. You've changed my life and I want to repay you by giving you the best night of your life," said the fan in the video.
The high schooler, whose is known as Mr Cyrus, first spoke about the incident when he waited outside a FM channel studio until 3 am to meet her in 2009, and a couple of months later he even got a mention at one of Cyrus' concerts.
