Security forces today busted a militant hideout and recovered arms and ammunition in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Based on a specific intelligence input, a joint operation was launched by the army and the police in Horanmarg forest in Kishtwar district, defence spokesman said.
The operation led to the busting of a "well-concealed hideout" and recovery of a cache of arms, ammunition, he said.
The recoveries included one AK-56 rifle along with two magazines and 60 rounds, four under barrel grenade launcher (UBGL) grenades, four hand grenades, one wireless set, one radio set antenna, one binocular, cooking utensils and two blankets, he said.
