Militant hideout busted in Bandipora, arms recovered

Security forces today busted a militant hideout in Bandipora district of Kashmir valley and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition, police said.

Acting on a specific information, police and army's 14 Rashtriya Rifles busted the hideout in Kudara forest in Bandipora, a police spokesman said.

The forces recovered two AK 47 rifles, five AK magazines, 200 rounds of AK ammunition, one UBGL brocket, 46 UBGL grenades, two radio sets, one nine mm pistol and two hand grenades from the hideout, he said.

However, no arrest has been made, the spokesman said, adding a case has been registered.
