Militants attack Army camp in Jammu, 3 injured

Militants belonging to Jaish-e- Mohammed terror group attacked an army camp located here in the dead of the night, officials said today.

The terrorists, believed to be two or three, entered from the rear side of Sunjawan army camp where family quarters are located, they said.

At least three people, including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) and his daughter, have been injured.

However, militants have been isolated.

Intelligence inputs had warned an attack on the army or security establishment by Jaish-e-Mohammed in view of the death anniversary of Afsal Guru who was hanged on February 9, 2013.
