: Irked at action not being taken against a couple who took his signature on blank papers promising a loan and pledged his house for Rs 56 lakh,a milk vendor hit on a novel plan to draw authorities' attention, pouring it all over his body at a grievance meet here today.
The man, a resident of R S Puram area in the city, came to the Collectorate for the grievances day meeting and poured milk all over his body from his can.
Even as police were taking him out, he claimed that his friend and wife, who knew he was in need of money, had taken his signature on blank paper, promising to get him loans from a bank.
However, he came to know only later that the papers were used for making him and his father partners in their business and that with the applications, they had pledged his house for Rs 56 lakh for business expansion, police said.
Though he had given petition to officials concerned, no action was taken against the couple, which forced him to take the action, he said.
