A 35-year old man from Bihar died today after allegedly being beaten by some of his colleagues at a cotton mill for "misbehaving" with them in an inebriated condition in neighbouring Tirupur district, police said.
Lalbabu Prasad had allegedly come for work in a drunken state and entered into a quarrel with some of the workers. Unable to bear it, few of his colleagues started beating Prasad, they said.
He died after some time, police said adding they were searching for the assailants.
