Minda Corporation Q2 net up 10% at Rs 32 crore

Automotive component maker Minda Corporation Ltd today reported a 10.18 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 32.02 crore in the second quarter ended September 30.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 29.06 crore in the corresponding quarter a year-ago, Minda Corporation informed BSE.

Its consolidated net sales was up 26.86 per cent to Rs 774.41 crore during the period under review as against Rs 610.43 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.

Minda's total expenses increased by 25.10 per cent to Rs 721.65 crore as against Rs 576.83 crore.

Shares of Minda Corporation were trading 0.85 per cent higher at Rs 106.70 apiece on BSE.
