mini marathon with the theme 'relive the Dream' of Kalam

: Around 7,000 participants are expected to participate in a Mini Marathon with the theme- 'Relive the Dream of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam," to be held at Karumathampatti on the outskirts of the city on November 29.

The second edition of this mini marathon is being jointly organised by KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanganthan (NYKS), Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

The event will cover a distance of eight km from Karumathampatty to the institute, in which students from colleges and schools (10 to 12) and those in open category for men above 40 years will participate.
 

Velmurugam, NYKS Additional Director, Velmurugan will distribute prize at a function, to be presided over by KPR Group chairman, Ramasamy.
