Though the sun shone bright through the day, there was chill in the air today even as the maximum temperature rose to 20.4 deg C from yesterday's 18.4 deg C, which was one degree below normal.
MeT officials predicted that mercury may remain well below normal in the next couple of days with tomorrow's minimum temperature expected to remain at 4 deg C while maximum at 21 deg C.
The only good news for Delhiites is that the Weather office has not predicted any rain. However, shallow fog is expected to envelope the city in the morning.
