The minimum temperature hovered well above normal limits at most places in Haryana and Punjab today.
Chandigarh recorded a minimum temperature of 11.8 degrees Celsius, four notches above normal limits.
Ambala also recorded a low of 11.8 degrees Celsius, up three notches against normal. Hisar registered a low at 11.2 degrees Celsius, four degrees above normal limits, a MeT Department official said here.

In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a low of 10.4 degrees Celsius, five degrees above normal.
Ludhiana's minimum settled at 10.2 degrees Celsius, up three notches while Patiala registered a low of 12.1 degrees Celsius, four degrees more than normal level.
Meanwhile, the MeT official said that fog, which had affected normal life in the two states during the past few days, had lifted from many places.
However, foggy weather prevailed at some places today including Ambala, Amritsar, Ludhiana and Patiala.
