Minimum temperatures today hovered around normal levels in most parts of Punjab and Haryana.
The Union Territory of Chandigarh recorded its minimum at 11.6 degrees Celsius, a MeT department report said.
Among other places in Punjab, Amritsar recorded its low at 6.4 degrees Celsius while Ludhiana and Patiala settled at 9.7 and 11.2 degrees Celsius, respectively.
In neighbouring Haryana, Ambala and Hisar registered their minimums at 13 degrees Celsius and 12.5 degrees Celsius while Narnaul and Bhiwani settled at 12 and 13.4 degrees Celsius, respectively.
However, the maximum temperatures in most parts of Punjab and Haryana settled a few notches below normal. The temperatures in several parts of both states were in the range of 19 degrees and 25 degrees Celsius.
