Minimum temperatures hovered close to normal limits at most places in Punjab and Haryana today with Chandigarh, the joint capital of the two states, registering a low of 10 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, the minimum temperature at Amritsar settled at 7.7 degrees Celsius, which was within the normal limit, an MeT department official said here.
Ludhiana (8.9 degrees Celsius), Patiala (10.6 degrees Celsius), Pathankot (9.3 degrees Celsius), Adampur (6.6 degrees Celsius), Halwara (8 degrees Celsius), Bathinda (8.8 degrees Celsius), Faridkot (9 degrees Celsius) and Gurdaspur (8.9 degrees Celsius) also recorded minimum temperatures within normal limits.
In Haryana, minimum temperatures hovered close to normal at places including in Ambala (11 degrees Celsius), Hisar (9.8 degrees Celsius), Karnal (8.4 degrees Celsius), Rohtak (10.7 degrees Celsius), Narnaul (9 degrees Celsius), Bhiwani (10.8 degrees Celsius) and Sirsa (9.6 degrees Celsius).
