The minimum temperatures plummeted by 1 to 7 degrees Celsius at most places in Rajasthan with the desert state's hill station recording 1 degrees Celsius, a Meteorological official said today.
People in state capital Jaipur also woke up to cool breeze and fog due to a drop in the minimum temperatures.
In the last 24 hours, Mount Abu recorded 1 degrees Celsius followed by 3.2 degrees Celsius in Sri Ganganagar, 5.5 degrees Celsius in Churu, 5.6 degrees Celsius in Pilani, 6.5 degrees Celsius in Sikar, 7.3 degrees Celsius in Bhilwara, 8.6 degrees Celsius in Banasthali, 9 degrees Celsius each in Chittorgarh and Eranpura road, 9.4 each in Dabok, Alwar and Jaipur and 9.6 degree Celsius in Bikaner, respectively.

According to the MeT department, dense fog shrouded in Jaipur, Churu, Banasthali, Pilani andSwai Madhopur.
Moisture was recorded 100 per cent in Banasthali, Alwar, Jaipur, Pilani and Churu.
The MeT department has forecast dense fog in the nothern places of state in the next 24 hours.
