Minister Abdul Majid Wani today conducted aerial survey of snow-bound areas in Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir and reviewed relief measures with senior officials.
The Roads and Buildings and MED Minister conducted the aerial survey and reviewed steps taken by the administration to mitigate woes of the people, officials said.
He asked officials to double their efforts to provide relief material to the people living in snow-bound and hilly areas.

The Minister directed the Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution department to ensure adequate ration supply in Bhaderwah and other snow-bound areas.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the slow pace of work on Bani-Basohli-Bhaderwah road, he asked the BRO to ensure its completion within shortest possible time.
Wani asked them to clear snow from Doda-Bhaderwah link road.
