Punjab Education Minister Daljit Singh Cheema today held meetings with senior officials to speed up educational reforms in government schools.
The minister held meetings with senior officials including Principal Secretary, School Education, C. Roul, Director General School Education Pradeep Aggarwal, Special Secretary Gurdeep Singh, D.P.I. (Secondary Education) among others here, said an official release.
During the meeting, Cheema said a policy will soon be put in place for utilisation of resources in schools.

He also appealed to all the teachers, officials and organisations to make people living in the rural areas aware about sending their children to the government schools.
He also gave an assurance that promotions from head teacher to centre head teachers would be done by April 30.
During the meeting, the issue regarding 245 primary schools having less than 10 students was taken up.
