Himachal Pradesh Transport Minister GS Bali on Saturday appealed to employees of state-run Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) not to observe strike on June 14 and 15 as thousands would be affected.
He said even if some employees go ahead with the strike, the government will reward those who do not join it and report to duty on those days, adding that videography will be done at bus stands, workshops and depots to punish the "bad elements".
Talking to PTI here, the minister said 90% of the demands of HRTC employees have been accepted. Only those are pending with the Chief Minister which could not be entertained by the Transport Ministry and as such, there was no need for a strike.
