A three-member ministerial sub-committee has been set up to give a report to the government on framing a local policy for Jharkhand.

Energy Minister and Congress leader Rajendra Prasad Singh will head the sub-committee with Tourism Minister and RJD leader Suresh Paswan and Transport Minister and JMM leader Champai Soren being the other two members, an official release today.

The team would submit a report to the government to enable it to frame a policy for the locals.

Several statewide bandhs had been observed demanding a 'domicile' policy to enable the locals to get grade III and IV government jobs in the state since 2002.
