In the aftermath of recent deaths of
infants at Dharmapuri and Salem hospitals, two Tamil Nadu ministers visited the government hospital here today.
Health Minister, Vijayabaskar and Highways Minister Edapadi K Palaniswamy inspected the infants ward and enquired about the health of the babies.
Medical director Dr Geethalakshmi told reporters that comparing to other district head quarters hospitals, treatment and cleanliness in infant wards here are good.
Four surgeries are being conducted here daily and infants
Brougt from other districts are treated and sent back in good codition, she said.
