In a minor administrative reshuffle, as many as 13 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have been assigned new duties in Chhattisgarh.
"A directive in this regard was released from the Mantralaya last night," an official said, adding that these officers would remain in charge of their new departments until further orders, he said.
As per the order, Amit Agrawal, secretary for technical education, science and technology as well as finance has been given additional charge as secretary and commissioner of commercial taxes.

M Gita, who was Inspector General of Registration and Stamps, has been made secretary of public health.
Rajat Kumar will be relieved from the charge of public relations and given additional charge of CEO NRDA.
B L Tiwari, Commissioner, Raipur Division and Durg Division has been made secretary of water resources department.
He will be succeeded by Rajnandgaon Collector Ashok Agrawal as Durg Division Commissioner with additional charge of Raipur division.
Collector Raigarh Mukesh Bansal will replace Agrawal as collector of Rajnandgaon.
