Minor allegedly raped by neighbour on two consecutive days

A minor was allegedly raped for two consecutive days by a government employee at Seppa in East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh.

45-year-old Logo Singhi, an employee of Agriculture department outraged the modesty of a five-year-old girl who stays adjacent to his quarter, in absence of her parents on October 2 and 3 last, an FIR lodged by the victim's parents said here today.

A case has been registered at Seppa police station.

Meanwhile, the Women Welfare Organisation of East Kameng is going to organize a peaceful protest rally protesting the incident.

The East Kameng Social Welfare and Cultural Organisation (EKSWCO) described the incident as a 'heinous and inhumane act' against women and children.
 

EKSWCO chairman Khya Safar Pao urged the law enforcing agencies to immediately arrest the culprit.

He further urged the public to condemn the brutal incident in strongest terms.
