A 15-year-old boy was today taken into custody for allegedly raping his younger sister, who is now four months pregnant, at Sainyat village of Kheda district of Gujarat.
"Police have today taken into custody a juvenile, aged 15 years, and sent him for medical examination following the complaint filed by his parents that he raped his sister," police station officer of Thasra, Kailashben, said.
The crime came to light when the victim's mother took her to a doctor and found out that the girl, who is 13 years old, was pregnant.
The girl told her parents that her brother had raped her many times, the officer said, adding that the victim has been sent to a government hospital for medical examination.
