The incident was reported from Sangam Vihar and the deceased have been identified as Satyadev Giri (55) and his five-year-old grandson Shivam. They were inside their house when the roof caved in.
The boy's mother Rekha and a relative of theirs were also injured in the incident.
Investigators suspected that the building's roof weakened due to rains and finally collapsed.
