A 10-year-old boy was today murdered after allegedly being sodomised in Biharghar village here following which seven persons have been taken into custody for questioning, police said.
Nikul had gone missing yesterday and his body bearing injuries was found from a vacant house, they said.
It is suspected that the boy was sodomised before he was killed. Seven people have been detained for interrogation, police said.
Angered over the minor's death, local people took out a protest.
