Minor boy killed in accident on Yamuna Expressway

A two-and-a-half-year-old boy from Delhi was killed and five others were injured in an accident on Yamuna Expressway today.

According to police, Rajat Sharma, a resident of Chandni Chowk in Delhi, was going to Agra via Yamuna Expressway, along with his wife, son, brother and sister-in-law.

When they reached Maat area of Mathura district, the driver lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the road divider.

All six in the car were injured and were rushed to a hospital here, where doctors declared Nandi Sharma dead on arrival.

The injured were later shifted to a Delhi hospital, police said.
