A 10-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by a maulvi in a madarsa here, police said today.
The accused maulvi Rafiq Chaudhary, who teaches in Muhammadia madarsa in Makbool Nagar, sodomised the boy yesterday in the madarsa, they said.
The victim narrated the incident to his father Haji Munna Khan following which he lodged an FIR against the maulvi last evening, SHO Kho-Nagoriyan Harji Lal said.
He said the accused, who is absconding, has been booked under section 377 (Unnatural offences) of IPC and POCSO act.
