Minor electrocuted to death

A six-year-old girl was today electrocuted to death while three others sustained burn injuries after a high voltage power line accidentally touched the domestic service line in a village here, police said.

The incident occurred around 9:30 this morning when the 11000 KV power line, passing over the houses in Laxmipura village, accidentally touched the domestic service power line causing strong power current in at least 6 houses, a police official said.

Nikita Ragar died while her father Ladhulal and two other persons Dhanraj Bheel and Rahul Khateek sustained burn injuries, he said, adding the injured have been admitted at a health centre here.
 

The official said most of the residents here are labourers and had gone on work while their children were at Anganwadi centre at the time of the incident.

The body of the minor has been handed over to the family after postmortem and a case has been registered under section 174 of CrPC.
