An incident of "minor" fire was today reported on board anti-submarine stealth corvette INS Kamorta while she was operating out at sea, the Navy said.
The fire was detected in the engine room, Navy officials said adding that there has been no injury.
The affected compartment was evacuated immediately and the fire was brought under control by using fixed fire system fitted on board.
There have been no casualties or injuries on board due to the incident, the officials said.
