A minor fire broke out at a religious place in Pragpura area here, police said today.
The blaze, caused by some firecrackers, took place last night though the incident came to light this morning, SP Jaipur (Rural) Rameshwar Singh said.
Some study material got burnt after a carpet kept in the place caught fire, he added.
Locals gathered and demanded probe into the matter.
A case has been registered and the matter is being investigated, the SP said, adding that policemen have been deployed in the area as a precautionary measure.
