A minor fire destroyed explosive materials stored at a cracker manufacturing unit at Pattam Pudur near here today, police said.
There was no casualty in the mishap that occurred in the early hours, they said.
Fire and Rescue Service personnel doused the fire, cause of which was under investigation, police added.
