A minor fire broke out at the office of Health Minister K K Shylaja in the state Secretariat, the administrative hub which houses a number of government departments, here today, creating scare, police said.
The air condition in the room was destroyed completely while some furnitures and window panes suffered minor damage, they said.
The minister was in her office when the fire broke out and it was doused at the earliest, police added.
Fire service personnel suspected short circuit as the cause of fire.
